After being told that nearly all car rentals places were out of rental cars, we luckily found Anarent cars. They have really Friendly and helpfull staff who really care for their customers! The service was really nice (taking the time to thoroughly explain what to visit in the algarves etc). Furthermore the rental car was dropped of at the hotel and we got a ride back to the hotel after returning the car!They also had some good covid precautions in place with a thorough cleaning of the car.

This is a great little car hire company. Staying in Salgados, with the only other option of travelling to Portimao, Faro or an expensive company suggested by the hotel, I called this company just up the road in Gale. Paula gave excellent customer service and delivered a nice clean nearly new Skoda Fabia to the hotel at a fair rate. It even had Apple play for me to use Google maps with! 5 stars 👍🏼👍🏼

We were in Portugal in the Covid 19 epidemic, the UK foreign office advised people to return home so we had to change our plans and fly home. The first car hire company we tried was recommended by our campsite, the day after we booked our car they cancelled all bookings. I then found ARC rental online, and they were amazing. Great service, very friendly and professional. Our first flight was cancelled on the day, by the time i contacted ARC they ere on their way to the airport to collet the car, when I told them we were still on our site and apologised that the car was with us they had to turn around after a wasted trip. They were amazing (not even a "tut") and came straight over to re-organise the booking, seemed more worried that my family were ok than their wasted time and massive loss of business. In short use these people they are amazing (this is only the second review i have EVER written, and the forst was for a friend) i cant say better than that. we will always be gratefull for their help in a very stressfull time

Thank you to all the staff at Arc. We hired a car when staying at the Baia Cristal hotel as they have a desk in the reception area. The staff were all really friendly, professional and efficient. The paperwork and process was very smooth, with the prices competitive and no hidden charges. The car was great and having it really enhanced our holiday experience. I would definitely hire from you again as it was a great experience.

After reading many, many car hire horror stories, decided to hire a car locally rather than drive from the airport. Organised the whole thing the day before we arrived via email, staff responded very quickly with quote, details etc. Easy to find as located in the grounds of Hotel Baia Cristal, which was a short walk from our villa.Very helpful friendly staff made the whole experience memorable and trouble free. This was our first trip to Portugal and Carvoeiro an absolutely fantastic place. Whenever we go again we will definitely use Anarent Cars.
